Galileo swore by the power of lenses, Newton swore by reflectors. We have simply combined the two technologies – but better than anyone before. The result: Our patented3Advanced Focus System (AFS), which allows a seamless transition from homogeneous low beam to sharply focused high beam. The efficiency of the AFS even has experts enthralled.
When focusing or defocusing the handheld torch or head torch, the reflector lens moves in relation to the LED. To ensure this process is as quick and ergonomic as possible we developed Rapid Focus: a single-hand mechanism that allows the light beam to be adjusted as fast as lightning.
This technology is an extension of the Advanced Focus System (AFS). It can merge virtually any number of reflector lenses and synchronizes its individual light beams into one perfect ray. The result is a high-grade, homogeneous floodlight in unfocused mode, as well as our most sharply focused high beam.
Our wide light format takes into account that the human field of vision is around 180 degrees horizontally and only around 130 degrees vertically. The oval shape of the light and the Wide Beam technology makes things doubly safe: You don't only see more, but are also seen from every angle.
In our lanterns, this innovative technology with optical microstructure ensures glare-free, efficient and targeted light distribution. It ensures that the light shines downwards by up to three times more than ordinary scattered light lenses and thus ensures optimal light distribution in the room, whether on the table or hanging from the ceiling.
Precision optics for the best available light quality in portable lamps. The newest and brightest LEDs require optics that are 100% tailor-made to the application. Our new multi-core optic(Patent pending!) is the perfect upgrade for our advanced focus system for unprecedented light output and light quality.
CRI, or "Color Rendering Index", describes the color rendering quality of a light source. The Ledlenser CRI series produces neutral white light with a 4000k color temperature and a CRI of 90 to ensures true color rendering. Without any blue cast and with natural color saturation, it helps effectively distinguish colors while assessing welds, reading maps and legends with great ease. Incidentally, your eyes will not get tired quickly using a CRI light even after an extended period of time.
This innovation turns a Ledlenser into your personal lighting tool: Using a microcontroller you can program your individual range of functions with different touch and switch combinations. That way you always have the optimal light function at hand.
Whether it's dusky, shadowy, dim or pitch-black: With the Optisense technology your Ledlenser will automatically adapt to the present light conditions. The innovative dimmer controls the luminosity based on the reflecting surrounding light, and avoids annoying glare effects.
Through the combination of multiple LEDs and lenses, we are generating an application-optimized light pattern with a focused spot, wide-beam flood and any intermediate setting. By having an off-center spot light, the light is directed where it is needed. Preventing light-spill into the night sky and optimizing light utilization. Light just where you need it.
Ledlenser's new flex seal is 100% dust- and watertight(Patent pending), even when adjusting the focus. This is complemented by fully sealed battery opening, main switch & magnetic mode switch for IP67 rating. Use your lamp even under water! No need for a dedicated focus lock thanks to turning focus.
Cooling Technology(CT) ensures the item equipment stays cool when your lamp is at mazimum power. Our CT product reduce LED heat to the optimal level by means of the intelligent use of cooling elements. This technology is also used to coll computer chips and ensures highly effcient use of energy, increased illuminating power, and especially long-lasting LEDs.
Hard work leaves our lights cold: A Ledlenser never gets too hot, regardless of how much you use it. This protects you from burns and the LED from overheating.
For this battery charge system our engineers have placed a lot of importance on simple handling. A magnetic interface between the light and the charger is what makes it possible. You can therefore dock your Ledlenser directly to the station. The battery remains in the casing and your handheld torch is always ready at hand. Due to intelligent charging electronics, it is environmentally-friendly even if you leave it on charge for a long time. And it looks spectacular.
With the Magnetic Charge System, the charging cable can be attached to the lamp quickly and easily. The connection for charging the battery is made via magnetic contacts. When the contacts approach, the charging cable automatically couples to the lamp and charges the battery. The connection loosens itself under load.
The lamp does not care whether a battery or a battery provides power. This function is especially useful for longer trips without an outlet. With our Dual Power Source you can use the full power of your Ledlenser at any time - no matter which energy source you have at hand. Because technology recognizes the type of energy source. So you can either use the rechargeable Ledlenser battery or a disposable battery.
Can also be used as a power bank to recharge other electronic devices.
This battery technology is predominantly found in electric vehicles. But it is also ideal for Ledlensers. A Safety Ytrion Cell is considerably lighter than a nickel-metal hydride battery, and can be charged up to five times faster than a lithium-ion battery. Plus it offers more than 3,000 charge cycles with virtually zero capacity loss because of the "memory effect".
Four practical light colors: normal white light, Red LED for reading and to retain night vision, Green LED for signaling and wildlife observation, Blue LED for signaling and tracking.
This application turns your handheld torch into an emergency light: When the power goes out and your Ledlenser is on its charging station, it turns on automatically. The light thus helps you to orient yourself, and you can then find the fuse box, for example.
